Payment confirmation SMS
New payments can create guardian notification drafts. Automatic sending can be enabled after configuring Arkesel or Hubtel, approved sender details, credentials, and SMS credit. Provider charges are separate.
School SMS campaigns
Prepare messages for all classes or a selected class, preview recipients, and review excluded contacts. Duplicate guardian numbers are removed within a campaign. Saving a draft does not send it.
Encrypted backups
Create password-encrypted local backups. Optional Google Drive setup supports encrypted online copies and automatic daily uploads while AuroPro is running and the required connection is available.
An SMS request accepted by a provider is not proof of delivery. Keep a recovery password safely and test restoration before relying on a backup.
ANDROID HUBS · v7.3.1 PILOT

The AuroPro Android Hubs pilot connects teachers, students, parents, and school leadership to a compatible Windows school service over the same trusted Wi-Fi network. School records remain in the desktop database; each hub provides access according to the signed-in account’s responsibilities.
Teachers Hub
Record classroom attendance, view class and subject assignments, create learning assignments, and review text submissions. Reply to student or parent concerns and explicitly escalate a concern to school leadership when needed.
Student & Parent Hub
View explicitly linked student records and class assignments, submit text responses, and send concerns to currently assigned teachers. Access depends on the student links approved by the school’s Master account.
Master Hub
Review an executive dashboard, manage student/client account links and revocations, and follow up on concerns that teachers have escalated. The leadership queue shows escalated concerns, rather than every private exchange.
Designed for school Wi-Fi
Keep the compatible AuroPro Windows computer running and awake, with phones on the same trusted school network. Setup uses the school’s HTTPS address and certificate fingerprint. Guest networks that isolate devices will not work; a changed address or certificate may require updated phone settings.
Pilot availability: the supplied Android apps are internal test builds. Physical-phone testing, production signing, and deployment review are still pending. They are not offered as public production downloads. The v7.2.4 Windows trial below does not include this connected suite; contact AURO for a matched pilot setup.
Current scope: text assignment responses and local Wi-Fi access. File attachments, offline synchronisation, push notifications, and internet/cloud access are not included in this pilot.

Who is AuroPro designed for?
Schools that need a Windows desktop workspace for student records, classes, exams, attendance, fee management, supplies, and reporting. Confirm your school’s curriculum and operational requirements with AURO before deployment.
Does AuroPro work without internet?
Core desktop record keeping and reporting operate locally. Live SMS, Google Drive backups, and the Android Hubs pilot require their relevant services and connectivity. The Hubs use the school’s local Wi-Fi network; SMS and Google Drive use internet services. A cloud backup is a recovery copy, not live multi-device synchronisation.
Are the Android Hubs included in the Windows trial?
No. The public Windows trial is v7.2.4. The Android Hubs v7.3.1 package is a separate internal pilot requiring a compatible Wi-Fi desktop service. Contact AURO to arrange a matched setup; public production APK downloads are not yet available.
What can teachers access?
Desktop teacher access is granted by class, stream, responsibility, academic year, and term, with optional expiry. Linking a staff record alone does not grant access. In v7.2.4, exam marking and publication remain administrative actions; the Android pilot adds scoped attendance, assignments, submissions, and complaint workflows through its own compatible setup. Mobile exam-mark entry is not advertised for this pilot.
How do payment texts and school messages work?
Payment alerts can be queued for the guardian number on a student record. Administrators configure Arkesel or Hubtel and choose whether to send automatically. Campaigns allow recipient preview and deduplication. A funded provider account and approved sender details are required; saving a draft does not send it.
Are automatic fee-reminder campaigns included?
The v7.2.4 package contains fee-deadline and reminder data, but automatic outstanding-fee SMS dispatch was not confirmed in the reviewed build. Contact AURO for the supported workflow and current availability before relying on this feature.
How are backups handled?
Create password-encrypted local backups, with optional Google Drive uploads after account setup. Daily online backup runs while AuroPro is in use and the connection is ready. Keep your recovery password and review backup results; test restoration with your school’s setup.
Can we print receipts and reports?
Receipts support PDF and printable HTML. Student profiles, exam report cards, and supported management reports use printable HTML; open them in a browser to print or save as PDF. Supported management reports can also be exported as CSV.
Does AuroPro support every country and currency?
Desktop v7.2.4 displays finance amounts in Ghana cedis (GHS) and includes Ghana-focused subject suggestions. School details and academic settings are configurable. Confirm local currency, curriculum, reporting, and regulatory needs before use outside Ghana.
Does this release include payroll?
A payroll and payslip module was not confirmed in desktop v7.2.4. Staff profiles, teaching assignments, and appraisal records are available. Contact AURO if payroll is a requirement for your school.
How do we obtain the software and trial?

Has the application been independently certified?
No independent security or accessibility certification is claimed on this website. Ask about testing, accessibility, and deployment requirements for your school. Connected services and printing should be checked with your devices and accounts during setup.

AuroPro combines local school records with optional external services. This overview describes desktop v7.2.4. The Android Hubs pilot adds local school-network access through a compatible desktop service. Confirm the complete setup before deployment.
Local school records
The Windows application uses a local SQLite database, with supporting photos and receipt assets. Installed school data is stored separately from the program. Core desktop workflows run on the school computer.
Protect the Windows account, device, data folder, and exports. Application permissions do not prevent someone with direct file access from inspecting the database.
Role-based access
Master, Administrator, Accountant, and Teacher roles control application responsibilities. Teacher grants specify class, stream, responsibility, year, and term, with expiry and revocation options.
Review access when staff responsibilities change and at the start of each academic period. Open-screen information is not remotely erased when a grant changes.
SMS and guardian contacts
Guardian phone numbers are stored with student records. Sending SMS shares the destination number and message with the chosen provider; payment texts can include the student name, amount, receipt reference, and bill balance.
Provider API connections use HTTPS. Ordinary SMS delivery is not end-to-end encrypted. Select message content carefully and confirm recipient details.
Backups and credentials
Local backup archives use password-based encryption and include the database, photos, and receipt assets. Automatic online backup stores its passphrase protected for the current Windows account. Keep a separate recovery password.
Google Drive uploads place encrypted copies in the connected account. SMS credentials use Windows account protection; Google authorisation files are kept in local application data. Protect access to that account and its files.
Android Hubs and school-network access
The pilot sends authorised requests over HTTPS between phones and the school’s Windows service on the same trusted Wi-Fi network. Setup includes checking the school certificate fingerprint. Phones do not connect directly to the SQLite database.
Student and parent access requires explicit student-account links. Teachers access assigned records and concerns; the Master complaint queue contains explicitly escalated items. Google Drive backup is separate and does not synchronise a live database across devices.
Exports and school responsibilities
Reports, receipts, printed documents, and backup copies can contain school and personal information. Limit access, choose retention periods, and store or dispose of copies appropriately.
